The personal, hands on approach of One-to-One tuition allows you to fully explore your own potential. If you’re a complete beginner just starting out or even a Yoga aficionado wishing to improve your practice, One-to-One tuition enables you to go at your own pace and tailor the practice to suit your needs.
One-to-One tuition is particularly suitable for beginners as the close guidance means you perform postures correctly and safely. Practicing with the right alignment and breathing ensures you get maximum benefits from every asana (posture). It will give you a good solid foundation plus the added confidence to further your practice and discover all the benefits yoga has to offer.
One-to-One tuition is also beneficial for those with a persistent illness or injury as all postures can be modified to allow for physical limitations. Attention will be paid specifically to improving your problem areas and gaining flexibility. I can also create a personal programme tailored specifically for you to be practiced in your own time.
For One-to-One tuition I tend to teach ‘Hatha Yoga’ - a generic term for physical yoga that covers all abilities and ages - to include Asana (posture), Pranayama (breathing) and relaxation. The sessions take place at your home, or if space is a problem, at my Hove studio and I will provide all mats and equipment. Sessions cost £45 for those living in Brighton and Hove and £50 if you live outside and last approximately 80 minutes. I can also teach small groups of up to 3 people if you wish to split the cost with friends or family.
